Karen Abell, owner of and curator for Patina Collection, utilized this philosophy in her creation of Patina Collection. She inherited a reverent appreciation for all things with a certain “je ne sais quoi” from her great-grandfather, a custom glassblower from Alsace. Her vision for Patina Collection ensued after countless trips to Europe, visiting the grand flea markets in Paris, the weekend markets in France and falling in love with the architecture and design from Italy.

Education through travel and school led Karen to a deep appreciation for architectural design, which she pursued through real estate sales. That career, however, was just the beginning. Because of the strong and personal relationships fostered between Karen and her clients, she was often asked to furnish the homes she sold them; thus a new venture was born creating beautiful lifestyles. Coupled with her lifelong appreciation for history and art, her raison d’etre became crystal clear.

    Naples Floor Manager

    Born in Brazil and raised in Naples, Brenda seamlessly blends her vibrant Brazilian roots with her love for life on the Florida Coast. A Naples native from just 9 months old, she cherishes both worlds. Outside of work, you’ll often find her soaking up sun at the beach, spending time with her family, or doting on her beloved dogs.

    Brenda’s impeccable organization skills and expertise in inventory management make her an invaluable part of the Patina Collection team. Her dedication and drive were evident early on, as she became an assistant manager at just 17 years old in previous roles.

    Passionate about her Brazilian heritage, Brenda finds inspiration in the rich stories behind Patina’s antique treasures. Her connection to history and culture shines through in her work, helping to create a shopping experience as unique as the pieces themselves.

  • Cali

    Cali Huffman

    Sales Specialist & Graphic Designer

    Cali brings her passion for design, storytelling, and all things vintage to her role at Patina Collection. Born in West Palm, Cali attended art school for both high school and college to hone her skills in graphic design.

    She moved to Austin, TX where she thrived in the dynamic entrepreneurial scene as a Creative Director. She also oversaw design and operations for an African accessories brand.

    When she’s not at Patina, Cali enjoys road trips with her rescue dog, Lady, discovering local restaurants, sipping Pinot Noir, and diving into home décor projects. Whether she’s crafting stunning visuals or connecting with customers, Cali brings a fresh, creative perspective to everything she does.

  • Andrea

    Sales Specialist

    “La vita è buona”

    Life is good when you find that perfect something for yourself, a loved one, a friend, or even a stranger. This has been Andrea’s mantra throughout her over 20 year career in customer service.

    Shortly after graduating college, Andrea joined an advertising agency in New York City working her way up to Produce television commercials for big companies such as AT&T and Nabisco before moving to Naples in 2000 with her family.  

    Since then she has continued in her customer service journey working with a realtor and a high-end jewelry store. When asked what is her favorite part of working at Patina, Andrea quickly said "There is no greater joy than helping a customer find that perfect something that brings them joy and a big smile!”
