A heartfelt thank you, Chicago

Dear Friends of Patina Collection,

I hope this message finds you enjoying a beautiful summer surrounded by family, friends, and special memories. My own summer with my family has been filled with the magic of Tuscany, exploring new towns, discovering hidden restaurants and wineries, wandering through antique markets, and embracing the beauty of the countryside. We even welcomed four delightful chickens to our home at San Michele, who knew chickens could steal your heart.

This summer of reflection has inspired us to make a few changes in our personal life. The contrast between our time in Naples, our days in Tuscany, and our life in Chicago has grown more apparent, and we find ourselves drawn to live more fully in that place of sheer happiness and ease that Tuscany inspires in us. After much thought, we have decided to transition away from city life in Chicago, a city that has been such a treasured part of our story for decades.

With that transition, slowing down a bit, comes a bittersweet change: we have closed our beautiful Chicago location. It has been an incredible joy to bring the European charm I so love to this special city, and to be part of the vibrant Old Town community. Change is never easy, but it opens the door to living with deeper intention and fulfillment for myself and my family.

While we said goodbye to our Chicago showroom, our connection with you is not ending. I look forward to welcoming you in Naples this season, at our store on historic Third Street South, our upcoming warehouse showroom (open by appointment only), and our Chesterdales Home & Garden location. Our Naples team is ready to bring you another wonderful season of true Patina style.
